Architecture on College Hill

Answer:

GIMLET

This puzzle consists of six rounds of Geoguessr-style location identification challenges, styled after the game Where at Brown that ran during the spring semester of 2026; each round involves identifying four or five locations on campus. Rounds can be done out of order; after completing a round, solvers are given a letter in the answer, though not necessarily in the correct order.

Solvers can use a number of strategies to identify locations. Some photos have text, dates, or other details in them that are helpful (especially the indoor ones). If it seems to be a particular kind of building, googling where those are at Brown will also be helpful. Using Google Earth to look at the College Hill area also helps to identify buildings with distinctive shapes and colors.

However, in each round, the last image is not given. Instead, solvers must notice that each round follows a specific theme: each photo contains a specific kind of location on campus, such as a bear statue, or a library. Each of these sets have a notably absent member, which are the final "missing" locations. This allows solvers to complete each round.
